The dining roomBook a table
Twenty-eight covers in one room, open until four on weekends. What you see below is live — if a time is showing, it is genuinely free.
No deposit needed for tables of five or fewer. Free to cancel up to two hours before.
A few honest notes
We hold tables for two hours
Long enough to eat properly, not so long the room stops turning. Tell us if you need more and we will usually say yes.
Six or more takes a deposit
Ten pounds a head, taken now and deducted from the bill. No-shows on a room this size hurt, and this is how we manage it.
Tell us what you are celebrating
Birthdays and anniversaries get something from the kitchen. First visits get a bit of guidance if you want it.
The chef's counter seats four
Directly across from the pass. Book it a week out; it goes first every time.
More than eight?
Groups of nine and above take the full room, either as a private hire or a shared sitting depending on the night. We will pre-agree a menu so the kitchen can send everything at once.
Can we hire the whole room?
Yes. Exclusive use is available most weeknights and Sunday evenings, with a minimum spend that varies by date. The room seats twenty-eight and holds about forty standing.
Do you do set menus?
For nine or more we ask for a pre-order or a set menu, chosen from the main list. It is faster, hotter and cheaper per head than ordering on the night.
Is there parking?
There is a pay-and-display car park two minutes away and street parking after 6pm. New Street and Moor Street stations are both about a ten-minute walk.
Is the room accessible?
The dining room is step-free from the street with an accessible toilet. Let us know when you book and we will hold a table with room to manoeuvre.
